Behavior Problem Solving
Behavior modification is for issues due to reactivity, fear, anxiety, aggression and other behaviors you have concerns about.
INITIAL: All new clients will start with a Comprehensive Behavior Consultation which consists of discussing your dog’s history in relation to the behavioral issues, assessing potential causes of the behavior and then developing a behavior modification plan. We will then start the process needed to change your dog’s behavior. This initial consultation lasts 90 minutes to 2 hours and will finish with a review of the behavior modification plan, the next steps in the plan and addressing any questions or concerns you may have.
Depending on the severity of the behavioral issue(s), a team approach with a certified dog behavior consultant and/or a veterinary behaviorist may be recommended which will influence pricing.
FOLLOW-UP: follow-up sessions may range from 15 – 60 minutes and are determined after the comprehensive consultation and evaluation.
